Description

General
The DSP Series Lubricator is a motorized oil piston discharge pump driven by a DC motor, controlled
by a controller or PLC (not included). The DSP Lubricator outputs oil continuously through reciprocal
piston movement actuated by motor and transmission mechanism. It can be used in positive
displacement injector (PDI) systems for light to medium industries, forging machinery, etc.

Operation
The motor drives gears to reduce speed and actuates a piston that moves back and forth by means of
a crank. With the movement, oil is pulled into an opening at the base of the pump and flows out past a
check valve into the lubrication lines. Fixed quantities of oil can be delivered to each lubricating point
at predetermined times when used with available programmed controller (sold separately). A relief
valve is provided inside the pump to effectively protect lubrication system.
